Description

This Bible uses very simple English. It was written for English-speaking children who are just beginning to read. It has 70 stories from Genesis to Revelation. Each story is short and can be read in a few minutes. Scripture references, maps of Bible lands, a glossary, and other tools help children to study God's Word.

Considerations

  • Written for children ages 5-8 years old.
  • The hardback book has 486 pages.

Limitations

  • Many of the pictures show parts of people and scenes. This will need to be explained to children who are not picture literate.
  • The colored pictures are muted and more representative than life-like.

Guidelines for Use

  • As an audio book without pictures.
  • As radio programs for children.
  • In schools and Sunday schools.
