Description

The Picture Bible is a visual journey through the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. It has 233 colored Bible stories in comic book style. Children like this style of story. It has been updated with new information. Some are fact pages, story listings, maps and an index. This information makes the Bible storybook more current.

It is available in four types. A hard cover, a deluxe hard cover, a paperback and a New Testament paperback. Each story includes the Bible references at the top of the page. Hebrew through Revelation are summarized. They have only one picture for each book. Each full Bible style ends with six pages of comics that show life in Bible times. The book ends with a Scripture index.

The New Testament edition does not include the life in Bible times part. It ends with sixteen pages (in black and white) titled: “How you can become part of God's wonderful family.” This gives Old Testament information and tells how to become a follower of Jesus.

The pictures in the New Testament Picture Bible are the same as in the complete The Picture Bible. The colors are not as bright.

This book in Spanish is titled:Nuevo Testamento Illustrado
