One-sentence summary
This 80-minute video is a dramatic motion picture presentation of God’s redemptive story as revealed in 36 Biblical events from Creation through the Second Coming of Christ.
Description
It includes footage from several Hollywood film presentations including: Hallmark’s In the Beginning, and Noah’s Ark, Jesus of Nazareth, and A.D. The Hope was intended to be dubbed into other languages from the beginning. As of February, 2008, The Hope has been or is currently being dubbed in over 40 languages.
The English speakers intentionally spoke a bit slowly so that the length of their segments would be a bit longer to accommodate languages with lots of syllables. The narrator is seen as well as heard, and it is encouraged that vernacular dubbings use one or more local narrators to replace the three North American narrators. A dubbed version can also be produced with just a spoken narration and no visual narrator.
