I have used the Betty Luken Bible in Felt flannelgraph set in rural Bangladesh and India. Story listeners enjoy the dynamic building of the pictures. When used with children there is great interest if children are invited to help with the picture, though some of their placement of pieces is humorous at times. Flannel pieces for each story are put into a large Ziplock bag for carrying. The background felt is fastened to a cardboard backing that is hinged in the middle for it can be folded and easily carried. The pieces are colorful and highly visible even in poor lighting. And if any of the pieces are soiled in use they can be easily washed with Woolite and patted dry. » abnabe - March 6, 2006:
