A story prop is an object that is used to support or reinforce a message or talk given in a live presentation. These props can come in the form of a flag, scarf, wordless book, toolbox, or any handy item.

Considerations

• Do any of its colors or features have a meaning that conflict with its meaning in the message?
• Does the audience need to be told there is no spirit in the prop?
• Is the prop easy to carry?
• What is the cost to transport the prop and to keep it in good condition?
