Limitations

- If the added material is used, much translation will be needed. Recordings will be needed for language groups who do not have a written language.
- If children are not picture literate, their language group may not have materials for drawing and coloring which is suggested in the activities.
- Translators need to evaluate the video with the dubbing team. This will show what scenes or cultural issues that might distract from the message.
- When showing the Genesis video to non-video-literate groups, it might be necessary to explain the narration with Hebrew heard in the background and would be wise to explain the narration with Hebrew which is spoken at the same time.
- Viewers need to know that the actors show the way it might have been.
- The music and images may not be understood cross-culturally.
