Description

A detailed filmstrip manual has been written by Vernacular Media Services (VMS) which includes information on many filmstrip titles. The document is available on the following link: Filmstrip Manual.

Good News Productions and InterComm are additional sources for filmstrips and are included in the manual.

Considerations

VMS sells a kit containing 80 split-35mm filmstrips, a filmstrip projector made by RADMAR, a spare bulb, a small 12V sealed battery, and a small solar panel for charging the battery. Included are a few hand-held viewers for individual viewing using sunlight, and an adapter for charging the battery from electricity. The kit weighs about 13 pounds (6 kilos). The filmstrips cover stories from the Old Testament through the life of Christ and the early church. Each of the 80 stories contain about 20 pictures with a simple narration.

  • The complete kit is $225.00
  • Because of the included solar panel, the projector can be used for months at a time without need for electricity.
