One-sentence summary

A story written in French about a little Nigerian boy from a Christian family.

Description

This 16-page story is in French. It is one of a series of six stories about village life for a little Nigerian boy whose family are Christians. (See Related Products in the right margin.) I do not read French but believe this story is of the same high quality as the other five stories.

Considerations

  • The black and white drawings do a good job of helping tell the story.
  • The drawings give an accurate glimpse of Nigerian village life.
  • Little boys in all cultures should identify with the joy of owning and caring for a puppy.
  • The line drawings are clear and easy to understand.

Limitations

Guidelines for Use

  • Permission is given to reproduce the illustrations in the book when used as teaching aids.
  • This story could be adapted by an oral story-teller.
