Considerations
- There are times when words must be used which are not in the group of words that make up Special English. The meaning of these words is given in the glossary at the back of this book. When these words are used they have a special marking, a G.
- Each chapter has a colored picture to help tell the story.
- The book is also available in bilingual editions:

Limitations
- Some of the colored pictures show only parts of people or the setting. This will be confusing to people who are not picture literate.
Guidelines for Use
- This book will be useful in schools, in Sunday Schools, in Bible clubs and camps and for children' church.
- It might be used as an audio book and translated into other languages.
- It might be used as a flipchart book if the color pictures where made bigger.
- In partnership with Trans World Radio in Johannesburg, South Africa, this book has been recorded and dramatized for broadcast around the world. These programs are fifteen minutes long.
