One-sentence summary

Christian non-fiction stories for children about the Himalayan Mountain region.

Description

In this ninety-five page book of short stories, children will learn about life in the countries of the Himalayas - India, Bhutan, Tibet, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, and Nepal. The stories show God at work in His people and His creation.

These are stories of distance-walking through dangerous but beautiful countryside. There are tigers, elephants, monkeys, and other animals to learn about. There are interesting people and cultures that are like no other.

A list of unusual words used in the book is included. Twenty questions and answers are given. A reference page shows what books, magazines, and interviews were used in writing this book. The titles and Bible reference for each story are:

  • Where My Help Comes From - Psalm 121:1-2
