Definitions
Application
An application is a computer program which a person can use to do his or her work.
Case History
A case history describes a personal event or situation. It can include stories, examples of using a particular media product, surveys, or formal reviews. Case studies relate to the use of products, procedures used, problems, and successes encountered. See the Story Page Outline for further details.
Context
Context means the key factors, setting, or circumstances in which an event occurs.
Digital technology
Digital technology is used to store information in numerical form using numbers, especially binary numbers. This is used for input, processing, transmitting, storage, or display.

Document
A document is any hand written, printed, or electronic-formated material.
Dubbing
Process of putting a sound track onto a film or video.
Ethnic group
An Ethnic Group, is also called a people or a people group. They are a community of individuals who share a common identity and are distinguished from others by their uniqueness.

Open Source
A method and philosophy for software licensing and distribution designed to encourage use and improvement of software written by volunteers by ensuring that anyone can copy the source code and modify it freely. It is often free financially as well. Free Software

The quality or state of being oral.
Refers to how people think, learn, remember, and communicate, using a method other than reading and writing.

Rain forest
A dense, evergreen forest that has heavy rainfall all year round.
Reference
A document that may or may not relate to another document on the site.
Vernacular media
Vernacular media is a way of communicating to a people group in their own language.
Worldview
A collection of beliefs about life and the universe held by an individual or a group. Worldview
