One-sentence summary

Dyk Visuals Flipcharts are available in a set of ten Old Testament stories from Genesis, Exodus, Joshua, and Judges.

Description

The complete set contains more than 100 laminated pictures ready for flipchart use. There are ten story sets, each one with a separate spiral binder. The story titles are: Creation, Sin Enters the World, Cain and Abel, The Flood, Moses, Deliverance from Egypt, The Ten Commandments, The Promised Land, Gideon and Samson, Samuel.

Considerations

The aim of the flipchart format is to provide a very simple, easy-to-use technology for telling Old Testament stories. Why Old Testament? One reason is because so many people groups seem to relate to the Old Testament better than the New Testament. Further, the Old Testament provides needed background for much of what is in the New Testament. The story format is used because storytelling is so much a part of many cultures and the visuals that go along with the story provide a jump-off point for questions and discussion which may lead to increasing interest in the Scriptures in general. It is our hope that this will be a useful tool for many field workers.
