Considerations
- Each chapter has an important Biblical idea. Some include a Bible reference.
- Some pictures can be used without permission. Others need permission from the photographer.
- A two-page "Travelers' Bible Study" has seven topics. These topics help children understand that God is always with them. The topics are:
- God is with me
- The Lord is in control
- God knows everything
- The whole world belongs to God
- God is the Creator
- God is my Creator
- The Lord is Saviour
Limitations
- The black and white photos are tiny and difficult to see.
- Occasionally some of the material made reference to may not be understood or relevant in every culture.
Guidelines for Use
- Use with children living on South Pacific or Indonesian islands such as Papua New Guinea or East Timor.
- Record on an audio cassette or CD.
- Perhaps photographs could be found on the Internet that could be substituted for the photos in the book.
- The book or audio book would be useful in schools or Christian schools as an introduction to the study of Australia.
