Live media is communication by a live person instead of a recording. A variety of media may already exist within a given culture. We can take advantage of the existing media to communicate the message of the Scriptures.

- Personal contact by live people can invite mental and emotional involvement
- Dramas can be created to include anyone in the village as an actor
- Exciting to the audience because of the risk of error
- Overcomes literacy barriers

- May be less expensive than other media types
- May be more sustainable long-term if avoids culturally unsustainable equipment

- May require much practice
- May require a lot of work for a one-time presentation, unless recorded
- Live errors are risky

- Be aware of dialect differences in the audience
- May require training for quality, production, and equipment maintenance
- Use local talent and materials to encourage creativity and sustainability of the type of work you've done
