This Voice of the Martyrs/Kids of Courage activity book helps children understand the needs of believers in Jesus who live in Iran. Children who study this material learn to pray for those who suffer rejection and persecution because of their belief in Jesus.

This 56 page, spiral bound book has colored photos that add interest. Children will learn about the geography, history, Muslim beliefs and lifestyle in Iran.

Considerations

• This book will be most useful for children who can read and write.
• Best for children ages 9-14 years.
• Permission has been given to reproduce the materials in the book for home or classroom use. The exception is material already reproduced, adapted or used with permission.
• In the stories and activities, some of the names have been changed and some of the faces in the photographs have been covered to protect the identities of the people involved.
• Most Scripture verses are from the New King James Version of the Bible.

Limitations

• The book is not appropriate for all cultures. Having a copy in a Muslim country would be dangerous.
• Some activities will not be possible to use in cultures where supplies or certain foods are not available.

Guidelines for Use

• Use as a supplement to prayer and geography curriculum in schools and Sunday schools.
• Stories in the book could be adapted and used as a radio or TV programs since many countries have access to these items of technology. It is difficult for governments to control what comes into their country via satellite.
